Speaking as a dog owner, we look for places where we can take the dog, let him off the leash, meet other dogs, and not annoy people that don't like dogs. We also have a cat, but he does his own thing. Can anyone recommend some really good places for dog walking that doesn't involve facing off with some serious bears?

You can try Bridgman park in North Vancouver. Very popular for dogs, and off leash I believe.
