Pun Peaks is an older family crowd with fine dining and whisky bars.

Big white reminded me of Queenstown New Zealand.. but only smaller. Has a few good on mountain pubs, bars. Heading there in a couple of weeks to do a reinspection... haha

Okay - I have not been to Big White, but sunpeaks is NOT a partiers place at all. Great mountain, super fun skiing, but the nightlife is non existant. I hear Big White is where you want to be for partying...

Big whites pretty cool, a small selection of bars, but right on the hillside. Skiing is fantastic.... Sun peaks is mean't to be good. But no experience there yet.
I'd say you can't go wrong with either!

Big White is better for partying. Hope you're not expecting a big selection of bars though.

sun peaks is a good mountain for family skiing but not for partying
big white still family oriented but better for partying

Hey there, I chris , I come from France, the northern Alps, i'm going to work in Sun Peaks resort for this winter 06/07 and i would like to know like Skiguy, if it's a good place for patying and have fun !! If you have some information please let me know.

well I've never been to sunpeaks would like to check it out sometime. But big white is awesome never line ups during the week for chairlifts and even on the weekends it isn't bad and it seems like everytime I'm there it snows. For partying it's pretty sweet snowshoe sams is the place to go, on the weekends you need to be there by like 9 at the latest to get in. But I guarentee you'll like big white
