Grouse: Grouse Mountain
Grouse Mountain was named in 1894 by the first hikers to reach the mountain top. On their hike, which took 2 days they came across a "blue grouse" and honoured the bird by naming the peak "Grouse Mountain".
Grouse has 25 ski trails and 5 lifts.

Directions: Grouse Mountain is located in North Vancouver is a 15min drive from downtown Vancouver. Take the Capilano Road exit off highway 99 and drive for around 5KM.
